Water Parks

Water slides and wave pools are just some of the attractions at the places below. They are both open from Saturday July 14th to Friday August 31st.

アドベンチャープール Adventure Pool is located at Kokura Minami-ku Shii Koen 2-1 小倉南区志井公園2-1. Open from Friday July 11th till Sunday August 31st. The center is open from 9:00 to 18:30 - on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and 8/13-8/15 the wave pool only is open till 20:00. The entry fee is 400yen and 200yen for elementary and junior high students. Using other attractions costs extra: 300yen for the wave pool; 100yen each time for the water slide; 100yen each time for the river pool; 300yen each time for the body board.

アクアシアン　Aquatian is located in Ashiya Beach Park at Ongagun Ashiyamachi Ooaza Ashiya 遠賀郡芦屋町大字芦屋　芦屋海浜公園内. Enjoy both the pool and the sea in one location. Both a water slide (100yen a shot) and a river pool are on site, too.
The center is open every day from 9:30 to 18:30 from Saturday July 12th till Sunday August 31st. The entry fee is 500yen for adults, 400yen for junior and senior high school students, and 300yen for younger children.
There`s plenty of parking available. Public transport from JR Orio Station is by city bus (市営バス) in direction of Ashiya (芦屋); from either JR Kurosaki, Orio, Mizumaki, or Onga stations take the Nishitetsu bus in direction of Ashiya (芦屋). Tel: 223-3481.
Outdoor Pools

For those of us who like to swim, summer is the time of year for enjoying the opportunity to do it outdoors. Pools that are open to the skies are in full swing from Tuesday July 1st to Saturday September 1st. Want to enjoy some time poolside? Check out a pool near you from the list below. All pools are open from 9:30 to 17:00 and cost \240, junior high students \130, and \70 for elementary students and under. All pools have children`s pools.
